The Main Tent Rental
The Main Event has an extensive inventory of tents for
rent. Whether you want to enlarge your house for a cordial
event
with a small tent on your deck, or a wedding for 500, we have the
inventory and experience to make your event fabulous. We pride
ourselves on the quality of our inventory and our meticulous
maintenance program.
We
encourage you to browse through our thumbnail picture pages of our tents.
Pricing is included in our price list,
which can be downloaded from the top of the website. In order to
give you a "sneak peak" at experiencing your event, we utilize a CAD
program to create virtual walkthrus of your event. You can see
some of our event walkthrus on our YouTube Page.
Frame tents have a supporting aluminum
frame with canvas over the top. This allows us to have more
options as to how we secure the tent to the ground, although stakes are
almost always required (except on decks). As the interior of
a
frame tent is less attractive (due to the aluminum frame), we often
insert a decorative fabric liner inside the tent to decorate the
interior of the tent. Normally, side pole covers are used
with a
liner to mask the aluminum side poles of the tent, thus covering all of
the framework of the tent. Of course, we can provide stunning
lighting effects for any of our tents.
Pole tents are supported
by the poles around the perimeter of the tent, poles in the center of
the tent, and the stakes around the perimeter of the tent.
This
tent requires the stakes to be in very specifc places, making it
unacceptable for being placed directly up against a building (although
a 10' marquee tent will allow a pole tent to be interconnected with a
building). As the interior of the tent is beautiful white
canvas,
a liner is not required. However, many people choose to have
centerpole covers and side pole covers to mask the supporting
structures of a pole tent. Pole tents are particularly
stunning
when lit with a fabulous color wash from our theatrical lights..
